About Us

Bringing American Flowers Back

The Nashville Cut Flower Collective was born out of the desire to bring Middle Tennessee flower growers together for support, education and collaboration. With the power of the group, passionate flower growers can reach more stores and designers than alone.

Unfortunately, the American Flower Industry has dwindled from its place of prominence. Cheaper labor, production and year-round warm weather took flower production to countries closer to the Equator. However, flowers grown overseas need to be harvested well in advance and sprayed with numerous chemicals to survive their journey to the United States. Flowers imported internationally have shorted vase life, chemical residue and contribute to systems that hurt the environment and workers.

By investing in locally grown American flowers, you can support your local economy through superior flowers that last longer, give greater variety and when you smell them, you smell flowers, not chemicals.

Terms & Conditions

CHANGES TO YOUR PRE-ORDER

We understand that every so often plans change and thus your order needs to change. We're happy to help! You can request changes to your pre-order by Monday at 5pm. The growers typically harvest your orders on Mondays and Tuesdays and this deadline allows us to notify the grower before they begin. If you find you need additional bunches after the 5pm cutoff, we're happy to see if our growers can accommodate your request, but cannot make guarantees.

In the event that a grower cannot fulfill your pre-order, we will make appropriate substitutions. If we need to substitute a similar, but different variety, we will let you know promptly. If you decline our substitutions, you will not be responsible for those original charges.

No refunds will be given for pre-orders canceled after the Monday 5pm cut off.

REFUND POLICY

We ask that you shop carefully on our website, as we are not able to refund pre-ordered items after the ordering window has closed on Mondays at 5pm unless there is a quality issue that you identify at the time of pickup on Wednesdays.

Other exceptions may include:

  • If the item you received had an incorrect photo on our website and you cannot use the item, you may trade it for an item from the same grower or receive a refund.

  • We do not offer refunds if the grower mistakenly used the wrong botanical name on our site. As long as the photo matches the item you receive, you are required to keep it.

  • We do not offer refunds on orders once they have been picked up from NCFC.

EXCHANGES

Items in orders can be exchanged if available on the market floor, as long as approval is given by the farmer directly.

CROP FAILURE

There are times when a Grower may have to cancel a pre-order item due to an unexpected crop failure. When this happens, NCFC will first try to source a replacement for your order. If we are unable to find a replacement, we will refund your order and notify you via email with as much notice as possible.
